Our History

      In the year of 2014, the Lord put on the officials' mind to progress to the next level. With the direction of the Holy Spirit, talk began about two spirit-filled congregations coming together to develop one strong ministry. After confirmation from the Holy Spirit, the deacons of both congregations met weekly to seal this instructed vision of God. After many meetings and discussions, the vision was presented to each congregation.

       A joint service was held on May 25, 2014, at the new location, 708 Forrester Road, North Little Rock, AR. Discussions were held and the vision became a reality. Rev. Bryan Blood became the first pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of McAlmont. The name Calvary was accepted as the official name. The first official service of Calvary Baptist Church of McAlmont, North Little Rock was held on June 1, 2014. The motto of Calvary was adopted: "Calvary, A place where love is demonstrated".
